The Virtual Road to Kindergarten: Pre-K/K Evidenced-based Transitions

In typical times, the transition from Preschool to Kindergarten can be both an exciting and anxious time for many children and their families. During such unprecedented times such as those we are currently navigating this is doubly true. More than ever, the role of teachers, paraprofessionals and administrators is vital in assisting children and families through this process. Participants will explore evidence based, developmentally appropriate virtual transition strategies and techniques, that ensure continuity of care that support Kindergarten success for all students including multilingual learners and students with a disability.
