ILLINOIS EARLY LEARNING PROJECT

Blogs are a growing portion of the wealth of information of the Illinois Early Learning Project’s website. Funded by the Illinois State Board of Education,  the site is a source of evidence-based, reliable information on early care and education for parents, caregivers, and teachers of young children in Illinois.  Resources span from parenting videos tip sheets, resource lists and frequently asked questions - and their answers - on early learning topics.  Its three blogs are: Children with Special Needs; Dual Language Learners and The Role Of Play. The project’s electronic newsletters update the website and events calendar. New blog entries are added every quarter, along with the Project’s Quarterly News.  The Illinois Early Learning Project currently publishes three blogs on issues related to the education and care of young children: Teaching and Parenting Young Children with Special Needs;  Teaching and Parenting Young Dual Language Learners; Young Minds at Play.
