Brenda Blackburn is currently the Early Childhood and School-age Education faculty coordinator for the NAEYC accredited programs at Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock, NC. She enjoys being a NAEYC Peer Reviewer and conference presenter. Previously, Brenda taught Kindergarten, 1st, 4th, 6th and 8th grades in public and private school settings. She has also been an administrator of three large child-care programs. She earned her master's degree from The University of Alabama in Human Development and Family Studies and received her bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Elementary and Early Childhood Education.

Pamela Ehrenberg, M.Ed., is the Program Review Manager in NAEYC's Higher Education Accreditation and Program Support Division. Prior to her arrival at NAEYC, she worked with baccalaureate and graduate teacher preparation programs pursuing accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (the predecessor organization of the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation).
