AA #1701 Developing and Using ISBE Compliant Child Portfolios in Preschool Settings

Participants will examine the rationale for designing compliant child portfolios and the role of portfolios in authentic assessment; identify the requirements for compliant portfolio content and the role of portfolio documentation in showing individual student growth over time; analyze the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards and Benchmarks to child portfolio documentation across learning domains; and identify strategies for linking authentic, high quality portfolio documentation to lesson plans, individualized instruction and program initiatives.

AA Credit Policy - In order to receive Administrator Academy credit, the Illinois State Board of Education requires attendance during the entire workshop/webinar. Individuals arriving late or leaving early, for any reason, are not eligible for Academy credit.
