Administrator Forum Session VI - Part 2 of 2- Foundations of Effective Job-Embedded Professional Development, a two-part webinar series

Research in recent years has proven what so many early childhood leaders already know- traditional modes of professional development are ineffective and seldom result in actual practice change for their staff. During this two-part webinar series, participants will be introduced to a more effective method of professional development. Through discussion and interactive, hands-on activities we will explore why traditional models have been so ineffective. We’ll explore the specific needs of adult learners and how to best meet them, as well as identify the key characteristics that define effective on-the-job learning routines for educators.

Learning Objectives: Learners will:

  1. Define embedded professional development
  2. Identify the principles of adult learning
