Emotions are a function of the nervous system. If it’s true for us, it’s truer for young children. So, where do all these emotions come from and why do we have them?
Do we have control of our emotions? Can we choose to be happy? Are we able to foster happiness in others? In this session we’ll use recent neuroscience findings to answer these questions as well as learn practical strategies that we can use in the service of finding joy in everyday living. The strategies in this session will be focused on Early Childhood professionals but have direct implications for use with the kids in their care.
