Supporting Young Children and Early Childhood Educators Returning to School (Remote, In Person, Blended Remote) During Challenging Times

This webinar will provide information and concrete recommendations for educators regarding how to best support young children as they transition back to school (either virtually or in-person) in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing racism and other forms of oppression and inequity. We will discuss the role of stress, anxiety and common coping responses. Providers will learn communication and emotional regulation skills that help children cope with these challenging times. We will highlight several resources (videos and fact sheets) to assist providers in offering ongoing support to young learners.

Those that attend this webinar will be invited to register for a follow-up session scheduled for Wednesday 10/28 from 4:00-5:00.
